Given that many games involve graphic scenes of violence and mature content that can include sexual themes, gambling, and drug use, it’s no wonder parents worry. These concerns are often amplified when young people sit for hours playing games that can easily be downloaded from the internet. Lack of exercise is bad for people of any age, but especially for the growing bodies of children and teenagers. The consequences of inadequate exercise include shrinking muscle mass and increased risk of obesity, heart disease, depression, and shorter life expectancy.
